My story

I am a skilled and experienced professional who has worked in corporate, entrepreneurial, and government organizations for over 30 years.  I am an integral member of the administration and management team that launched The Kenwood Group, Inc., a minority, female-owned Investment Advisory Firm.

 

My accomplishments include implementing and updating accounting, billing, and payroll software programs, as well as customer databases. My work has often led to increasing a firm’s revenue and efficiency.

Having been an employee, consultant, and newly established entrepreneur; I, have a passion for improving quality and control where needed in financial and administrative processes and procedures in a multitude of work environments and situations. I have worked with many types of organizations including non-profits. I was formerly the Treasurer and worked with The Have a Heart for Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation for 16 years.  I come from a family of educators and, I love to write and proofread informational text and material to achieve maximum meaning and impact.
